Idea: Increase internet quota to do all the research necessary for PBL and studying.

Problem: Not enough anatomy tutors
Dr. Kippers’ Response: Tutors were on rural rotations but should be back now and present in the labs, hopefully reaching the goal of having 1tutor/10 students
* You guys have probably already noticed this sudden increase in anatomy tutors.
Question: What the hell is going on with Histology?
Dr. Kippers’ Repsonse: About 500 DVDs will be made since the computers can’t handle 440 students. As of yet, date unknown.
Question: Will we get the Exams for 2007 and 2008?
Dr. Kippers’ Response: Hopefully in a few weeks they’ll be available (mid-April). Currently someone is going through them to delete the ones they are not allowed to publish because they were put into the question-bank for all medical schools to use.
Idea: Students would like more VOPPs (voice over powerpoint)
Dr. Kippers’ Response: Professors are encouraged to use the VOPP technology. They actually have a few machines to do this at school and they send people out to the professors to allow them to set up VOPPs, but it is up to the proffesors if they want to do this or not.
Complaint: Students are tired of having to bounce between blackboard and the portal
Dr. Kippers’ Response: Should be able to access blackboard via the portal before the mid-year
Question: Students have asked me whether the exam would be made harder along with the increase in percent needed toget a 7.
Dr. Kippers’ Response:
Although the grade needed to get a 7 has been raised, the overall level of the exam should not change (If it does it would be unintentional)
